Talk about rocketmq's consumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan

order

This paper focuses on rocketmq's consumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan

consumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan

rocketmq-client-4.5.2-sources.jar!/org/apache/rocketmq/client/consumer/DefaultMQPushConsumer.java

public class DefaultMQPushConsumer extends ClientConfig implements MQPushConsumer {

    private final InternalLogger log = ClientLogger.getLog();

    //......

    /**
     * Concurrently max span offset.it has no effect on sequential consumption
     */
    private int consumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan = 2000;

    public int getConsumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan() {
        return consumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan;
    }

    public void setConsumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan(int consumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan) {
        this.consumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan = consumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan;
    }

    //......
}
  • DefaultMQPushConsumer defines the consumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan property with a default value of 2000

checkConfig

rocketmq-client-4.5.2-sources.jar!/org/apache/rocketmq/client/impl/consumer/DefaultMQPushConsumerImpl.java

public class DefaultMQPushConsumerImpl implements MQConsumerInner {
	//......

    private void checkConfig() throws MQClientException {
        Validators.checkGroup(this.defaultMQPushConsumer.getConsumerGroup());

        //......

        // consumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan
        if (this.defaultMQPushConsumer.getConsumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan() < 1
            || this.defaultMQPushConsumer.getConsumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan() > 65535) {
            throw new MQClientException(
                "consumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan Out of range [1, 65535]"

                null);
        }

        //......
    }

}
  • The checkConfig method requires defaultMQPushConsumer.getConsumeConcurrentlyMaxSpan() to be greater than or equal to 1 and less than or equal to 65535

  • The executePullRequestLater method schedules a delayed task to the scheduledExecutorService. The task executes the executePullRequestImmediately(pullRequest) method, which puts the pullRequest into the pullRequestQueue queue. The run method takes the pullRequest from the pullRequestQueue, and then executes the pullMessage method. The pullMessage method first uses mQClientFactory.selectConsumer Take out the consumer and execute the pullMessage method of the consumer

Summary

DefaultMQPushConsumer defines the consumercurrentlymaxspan property, with the default value of 2000; when the pullMessage method of DefaultMQPushConsumerImpl is not consumerorderly, it will judge whether processQueue.getMaxSpan() is greater than this. DefaultMQPushConsumer. Getconsumercurrentlymaxspan(), if it is greater than, execute the executePullRequestLater method for flow control, pull_time_delay_mil. Ls? When? Flow? Control defaults to 50
